#-i-wanna-be-a-film-critics-but-successfully-fails. [Team Dragon Warrior & the Furious Five or Team X-Men: First Class]

Po is back... with his belly. Hehe. I kinda have love/hate relationship with the first one, but the second man oh man absolutely highlarious --- or should i say AWESOME? It had me & the whole theater genuinely laughing! Jack Black fits comfortably with Po, however the Furious Five barely get any screen time. And Gary Oldman (aka Sirius Black in HP) is fantastic as a villain (He brings that intensity and dark lunacy). The animation in Kung Fu Panda 2 is W-O-W. The action scenes are breathtaking. The landscapes and backgrounds are captivating to look at, artfully designed but still realistic. A great comic moment when Po must sneak through town to the tower and use a dragon costumes to get himself and his Furious Five past the guards. I loved the part where the dragon gobbles the guard up, and drops him out the other end. And a quick Pac-Man reference during a chase is absolutely funny-as-hell. And i was absolutely stunned during the last scene of the movie, a pack(?) of pandas. So moving. All these while Po's family is still alive. Definitely a kick ass plot for Kung Fu Panda 3. *Skadoosh!*

Blurghh.

Cool.

About half-way through this movie, with my heart full of excitements, i instantly realized that I am LOVING this movie. After failing to capture my heart with X-Men: The Last Stand & the god-awful X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the X-Men film series finally redeem themselves with X-Men: First Class. The always superhot-sexy-as-hell James McAvoy plays young Charles Xavier bringing the charms and gorgeousness and Michael Fassbender's nascent Magneto is relentlessly, even heart-breakingly, compelling. The chemistry between McAcoy & Fassbender is superb ( sensing a bit of bromance in there). They band together to start a school for mutants. Among those recruited are the shape shifter-Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), the brainbox-Beast Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), the sonic-screamer-Banshee Sean Cassidy (Caleb Landry Jones), the plasma-blasting-Havok Alex Summers (Lucas Till), as well as the winged Angel Salvatore (Zoe Kravitz). Kevin Bacon as the villain Sebastian Shaw is utterly impressive, not much i can say for January Jones as Emma Frost is utterly unpleasant. My favourite scenes hands down the Argentina bar fight (Fassbender's acting and the score playing at the time, maybe one of favorite scenes in movie history). And also not forgetting two memorable cameos - which come in the form of Hugh Jackman (who gets a great one-liner as Wolverine) and Rebecca Romijn (with a loud squeal coming from Milk.. hehe).

Pros: Awesome script, fantastic casts (mostly) and James McAvoy.
Cons: January Jones.
