#-i-wanna-be-a-film-critics-but-successfully-fails. {NO STRINGS ATTACHED}

I had low expectations for No Strings Attached. The couple would make the decision to use each other, one would fall for the other, and in the end they would live happily ever after. Very cliché indeed. It's like for example knowing that there is going to be funeral in a movie called "Death at the Funeral". Natalie Portman who gives a stellar performance in 2010's Black Swan plays Emma, someone with a phobia for close relationships. Emma's resistance is not even explained with any particularly painful previous experience, and is therefore not too convincing. But never mind. This is not a logical-deduction whodunit mystery but rather a Valentine escapade and, as such, perfectly adequate. About Ashton Kutcher's performances, i thought i was having a déjà-vu. Portrays in his same mediocre rom-com's leads like Valentine's Day, What Happens in Vegas, A Lot like Love, etc. This is the reason why you're not taken seriously. Dude has such potential in The Butterfly Effect.
